The Inspiration
The Orchid is Gazal’s most personal frame. It began with a question she’d been sitting with for years: how do you design something that represents the grandness of life — its beauty, its complexity, all the twists and turns that shape who you become?
The answer came through nature. Branches that grow outward, split, curve back, and find new paths. Roots that hold everything together even when you can’t see them. The Orchid’s sterling silver branch motifs aren’t decoration — they’re a map of everything life throws at you and how you grow through it.
Being Bold
The Orchid is oversized by design. Gazal has always wrestled with the idea of being bold — stepping into the spotlight, being seen, taking up space. The Orchid is her answer to that discomfort: a frame that doesn’t apologize for its presence. It’s large, detailed, and impossible to ignore. And yet, despite its size, it’s engineered for all-day comfort. Every gram is accounted for. The weight distribution follows the same principles Gazal developed across her ergonomic titanium collections — nothing presses, nothing pinches, nothing shifts.
Grandness doesn’t have to mean heavy. That’s the point.
Colors from the World Around Us
Each Orchid colorway is drawn from something real — not a Pantone chart, not a trend forecast. Pink flowers. Aquamarine water. Red roses. The deep greens of a forest canopy. Every color Gazal chose came from stepping outside and paying attention.

Sterling Silver Craftsmanship
The root branches on the Orchid are genuine sterling silver — not plated, not painted. Each branch is individually shaped and set by hand, wrapping around the temple and continuing onto the frame front corners. No two frames are exactly identical.
At each temple tip sits a sterling silver lotus flower, the signature of the Lotus Collection. The silver ages naturally over time, developing a patina that makes each pair uniquely yours.
The Bonsai Series
The Orchid belongs to the Bonsai Series within the Lotus Collection — a limited release where each frame explores growth, nature, and the art of patience. Like a bonsai tree, these frames are shaped slowly and deliberately. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass-produced. Each piece is handcrafted in Japan with the care that the name demands.

Are your frames 100% authentic?
Yes. Gazal Eyecare is an authorized dealer for every brand we carry — Jacques Marie Mage, Lindberg, Kuboraum, Akoni, Anne et Valentin, Thierry Lasry, Maui Jim, and our house brand Gazal Eyewear. Every frame is 100% authentic and sourced directly, with full manufacturer support.
Do you accept returns or offer refunds?
All sales are final and we do not offer monetary refunds — many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind or very small production. Eligible items can be returned for store credit: within 3 days of delivery for shipped orders, or 3 days of purchase in store. Items must be unworn and in original condition with the original case and packaging. Store credit never expires; once a store credit has been used, that purchase is final.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders ship the day they're ready and most domestic orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Pre-orders and special orders take longer — for example, a LINDBERG color combination we order for you typically takes 4–5 weeks just to arrive from LINDBERG, before any lens work. Frames with custom prescription lenses ship once your lenses are finished.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide, though we can't guarantee international delivery times — they depend on each country's postal handling and customs. All duties, taxes, and import fees are the customer's responsibility.
Can I customize lens tints?
Yes — our Lens Builder lets you design custom-tinted lenses online and see exactly how they'll look before ordering.
Can you make prescription lenses for the frames you sell?
Yes — that's our specialty. Our in-house lens studio cuts single vision, progressive, polarized, photochromic, and custom-tinted lenses, including for challenging shapes like Kuboraum sculptural frames and ultra-thin Lindberg titanium.
How do I send you my prescription after ordering?
Email, text, or call us — whatever is easiest. We do need a copy of the prescription, and a clear photo sent by email or text works perfectly.
How long do prescription lenses take?
Single vision about 1 week, progressives about 2 weeks, custom tints add 1 week, and specialty lenses (high-curve, photochromic, polarized) take 2–3 weeks.
Can I use my FSA or HSA?
Yes — prescription eyewear and prescription lenses are FSA/HSA eligible. Non-prescription sunglasses are not eligible.
What about manufacturer warranties?
We assist with manufacturer warranty claims to the fullest extent each manufacturer allows. Contact us and we'll handle the process with the brand on your behalf.
Can I visit you in person?
Yes — we're a family-owned luxury eyewear boutique and full-service optometric practice in Roswell, Georgia (Atlanta). Eye exams, fittings, and adjustments are all available in store.
