Are your frames 100% authentic?
Yes. Gazal Eyecare is an authorized dealer for every brand we carry — including Nina Mûr Eyewear. Every frame is 100% authentic and sourced directly, with full manufacturer support.
How long does shipping take?
- Standard Orders: Ship as soon as ready and arrive within 3–7 business days (domestic).
- Prescription Orders: Ship immediately upon completion of your custom lenses.
- Special Orders & Pre-Orders: Require additional production time. For example, custom frames are ordered directly for you and take roughly 4–5 weeks to arrive before lens crafting begins.
What are Nina Mûr glasses made of?
Nina Mûr frames are crafted from laminated Finnish birch wood, layered and pressed using an advanced multi-layer lamination process to create a lightweight yet remarkably strong material.
Are wooden glasses fragile? Will they break easily?
No. Despite being made of wood, Nina Mûr frames are engineered to be just as durable as conventional acetate or metal glasses through their layered lamination process. Like any frame, they can still be damaged by serious impact or mishandling, but everyday wear won't compromise them.
Where are Nina Mûr glasses made?
Every pair is designed and handcrafted entirely in-house at Nina Mûr's Madrid workshop, with each frame taking around 40 hours of largely manual production.
Can wooden frames handle heat, humidity, or extreme temperatures?
Yes. The laminated birch construction is engineered to resist extreme temperatures and everyday environmental wear, holding its shape and finish over time.
Can Nina Mûr frames be customized?
Yes. The frames are made to order with a range of customizable colors and finishes; note that color customization may add extra time to your delivery.
What's the highest prescription strength Nina Mûr frames can accommodate?
Nina Mûr frames can accommodate prescriptions up to 8 diopters.
How do I clean and care for wooden glasses?
Treat them as you would any quality frame: wipe with a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap if needed, and avoid extreme impact. The layered wood construction doesn't require special oiling or wood-specific treatment.
Are Nina Mûr glasses sustainable/eco-friendly?
Yes. The frames are made from sustainably sourced Finnish birch wood as part of the brand's broader commitment to slow-fashion, ethical production principles.
