A hexagon is a difficult shape to put on a face. Six sides means six decisions, and most attempts either soften the corners until the shape disappears or leave them sharp enough to look like a costume.
Anne et Valentin's answer with the Foryou is in their own description: "FORYOU: emphatic hexagon with an arched bridge. Inner line that softens the expression. Contrast and warmth guaranteed. Prefers city striding to bucolic strolls, and real political commitment to idle hot air."
"Emphatic" and "softens" in the same three sentences is the whole design. The outline is allowed to be angular; the bridge and the inner line are what keep it human.
Why a steel hexagon works where an acetate one struggles
Foryou is a Formacolor frame — stainless steel and acetate together. Anne et Valentin frame the concept as a dialogue: "Metal, precise and rigorous, draws the line. Acetate, more sensory, softens the angles."
On a hexagon that division of labour is not decorative, it is structural. Cutting a crisp six-sided rim from acetate means either thick sections or weak corners. Steel holds a true angle in a fine section, so the hexagon can actually read as a hexagon. The acetate then goes where the frame touches you and where the colour needs depth.
The arched bridge is the other half of it. A straight bridge under an angular front doubles down on the geometry; an arch cuts against it, and that contradiction is what makes the frame wearable rather than architectural.

It is the largest of the three, but by Anne et Valentin's standards 45 mm is still a small-to-medium frame — their acetate range goes up to 51 mm.

Brown & Red (25B22) is the one on the shelf, and it is the clearest demonstration of what Anne et Valentin mean by "contrast and warmth guaranteed": a warm brown body with red doing the accenting.
Black & Rose Gold (21B17) is the most metal-forward of the four — the one where the steel half of the construction is doing the visible talking.
Green (22B15) and Burgundy & Blue (23B06) are the other two special orders. Burgundy and blue is a genuinely unusual pairing and the one we would point to if you want the hexagon to be the point of the outfit.
