Read against the rest of our Anne et Valentin range, which runs from a 42 mm caliber up to 51 mm, the Alma 2 is small-to-medium rather than genuinely tiny. The more interesting number is the 21 mm bridge. That is wider than the Angie's 19 mm and wider than the Albertine's 20 mm, which is why the Alma 2 can suit a small face that still needs room across the nose — a combination that is harder to find than you would think.

Neither is on the shelf today, so both are special orders from Toulouse. That is normal for a model with only two colorways in our range, and it is not a barrier — both are orderable, and we will confirm lead time with you before anything is placed.
Tortoise and Blue (1725A) is the quieter of the two: a tortoise body with blue worked into the laminate, so it reads as a standard tortoise from a distance and gives you the colour only up close.
Purple (26A47) is the committed one. On a cat-eye this small, a saturated purple is a deliberate choice rather than a neutral you happen to like — which is exactly the Alpha line's argument for itself.
A sparkling cat-eye, specifically
Anne et Valentin call the Alma 2 a cat-eye without qualification, and they mean it — unlike the Angie, which they describe as a "small feline butterfly" with a merely "subtle lifting effect." The Alma 2's upsweep is the shape, not an accent on it.
That matters practically. A defined cat-eye puts a visible line at the outer corner of the face and draws the eye upward and outward. Whether that is what you want is a matter of taste and of what the rest of your face is doing, which is why we would rather you tried it than read a chart about it.
The material is acetate, cut and produced in France. Colour runs through the full thickness of the sheet rather than sitting on the surface, so the tortoise movement has real depth and nothing wears off at the temple where your fingers land a dozen times a day. It also means the frame can be heat-adjusted to your bridge and ears, which is not true of every material.
